About Us
DentSmith, Inc was founded by Barry and Halah Smith in 1998. With ten years in the auto body repair industry and ten years in the auto manufacturing industry as a metal finisher, Barry identified the need to offer Paintless Dent Repair to the public sector. Paintless Dent Repair is a method of repair that has been a part of auto manufacturing since the early 1900's.
Since 1998, DentSmith, Inc has become the preferred provider of our private customers, dealerships, auto body repair facilities, and insurance providers in the Rockford, Illinois and Northern Illinois surrounding areas. We are always focused on the needs of our customers by exceeding the demand for excellence.
Services
The process of Paintless Dent Repair can be performed on cars, vans, SUV's, and trucks. All repair is dependent upon the location and degree of damage, accessibility, size, structural reinforcement infrastructure, stress of metal, and finish.
Dents
We've heard some interesting stories over the years about how a dent happened. Whether it was a shopping cart, a child and their bicycle, a golf ball, softball, basketball or tree nuts, it's usually repairable. We just need to inspect the damage on your vehicle to give you our best recommendation.
Creases
Tricky as they are, creases can be repaired more often than you may think possible. As always, inspections and quotes are offered free of charge.
